Exercise and nature the perfect combination
Taking full advantage of our stunning environmental reserve, the plan is to optimize our use of this area by implementing educational activities and sports that tie in to the ones we do at the hotel. This way, guests will have access to a variety of activities and sports and an even more healthy and relaxing experience.
What's it about?
- HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is one of the most effective ways to improve endurance and to burn more fat because it improves the body’s ability to oxidize glucose and fats. Metabolizing glucose in a more effective way will make our endurance noticeably better, while metabolizing fat allows us to decrease our percent body fat (leading to improvements in our physical performance).
What will we be doing?
- We’ll leave the hotel grounds and walk to the activity’s meeting point; this walk is an essential warm-up that gives us 20 - 25 minutes of LISS (Low Intensity Steady State) cardio. As its name suggests, LISS is a form of constant cardio exercise where you should always maintain a low intensity combined with constant exertion. LISS is the perfect workout for weight loss, used by body builders, fitness models and athletes to reduce percent body fat. By maintaining intensity at about 65% for long periods of time, your body starts to use its fat reserves. During those 20 – 25 minutes, we’ll be checking in with guests to ask their limitations and fitness levels to determine which level best adapts to their physical capabilities. During the activity, we’ll mark the necessary parameters for each level and how many laps to do. At the end, we’ll walk back to the hotel using LISS cardio. I
