This year we are preparing a very special guide, in which the protagonist is you. We seek to explore the most authentic places of Tenerife, those that invite you to get lost discovering the charm of an island bathed by the Atlantic Ocean. The Cave of the Wind
A volcanic cavity that was formed inside the lava flow of the Pico Viejo volcano 27,000 years ago, next to the Teide, specifically in the neighbourhood of Icod de los Vinos. Inside you can find a network of underground tunnels and a wide variety of fauna.
Paseo de la Jaquita natural pools
natural pools of volcanic origin that are located in the municipality of Guía de Isora. An idyllic place to enjoy a quiet bath and sunsets overlooking La Gomera.
La Caleta village
A fisherman´s town located in Adeje, in south of Tenerife. You can enjoy a unique place with small bathing areas, coves and beaches that can only be reached on foot. It is a protected area, declared as 'Site of Scientific Interest La Caleta'. Take the opportunity to enjoy its variety of fish and seafood dishes right from the area.
Path of the Enchanted Forest
A natural path in the heart of the Anaga Rural Park that crosses the Natural Reserve of the Piajaral. There you can find one of the best-preserved areas of laurel forest. You can cross its tracks covered by impressive ferns that almost conceal the path.
The island that holds Spain’s highest peak awaits you. With an altitude of 3718 metres, it divides the island between north and south, with their defining contrasts like the eternal spring.
Las Cañadas Natural Park
Around the island: Teide, Icod, Garachico and Masca Head up to Las Cañadas National Park and continue on through the valley of La Orotava until the town of Icod, famous for its wines and the Ancient Dragon Tree.
