Chi Kung

Chinese Serenity Gymnastics

Its shape is changeable.

We observe it in the hair, nails, bones, muscles, cells and any part of the body. Chi takes different forms for each part, it is the engine that makes them progress and provides them with vitality.

Its movement is continuous and cyclical.

Digestion, respiration or the circulatory system do not stop for an instant. They repeat the evolutionary cycle of absorption, transformation and expulsion from the body, adapting to the rhythm of the Earth around itself and the sun.

Balances the body.

Chi tends to find its balance as it circulates through the body, but it can become blocked. If the chi does not circulate in the back, we have an imbalance that, if not corrected, will begin to bother us and will end in back pain. Listening to the body when the blockage begins allows you to regain harmony. The pains that disappear when we rest or sleep are good proof of this.

  • The purpose of chikung is to restore harmony at any moment, not only to heal but to prevent any bodily disease, balance energy so that it flows freely, store it, increase it, compensate and refine it; acting on a physical, mental and mental level.
  • Its ultimate goal is to transcend body and mind, and refine energy in such a way that it leads the individual to a spiritual experience.
  • All the exercises that we are going to practice at Sandos Atlantic Gardens work simultaneously on the breath, the mind, and the physical body. Depending on the level of the practitioner, the levels get deeper and deeper.
  • As human beings are largely energy, the fact of working on the breath, and the physical body with the mind (intention), makes our emotional state, directly related to the energy that the internal organs expand between them, more cheerful, light and lively. When Chi flows, the mood is creative, positive, and caring.
