Customers of the San Blas Sandos Hotel  Environmental Reserve & Golf can enjoy the facilities of two renowned golf courses adjacent to the resort and "partners" of San Blas: Amarilla Golf and Golf del Sur.

AMARILLA GOLF

Amarilla Golf – A 18 holes golf course with a well known reputation - together with Marina San Miguel makes the most complete golf & water sports offer in the whole island.

Opened in 1989, a year later hosted the second edition of the Open de Tenerife, part of the PGA European Tour.

It’s landscape designer Donald Steel, took advantage of the beautiful contrasts of the island to achieve a varied course between the mountains of the island, the peculiar ravines filled with unique native flora and the sea coast of the municipality of San Miguel de Abona.

The views of the exclusive Marina San Miguel set the personality of the route, which has its most spectacular and emblematic at the 5th hole: a real gem for golf lovers. With the sea as fairway the ball must fly over the ocean to reach the green.

The Amarilla Golf facilities are completed with: a 9-hole Pitch & Putt, a Practice Course with a possibility of practising from both ends by 350-feet and 2 Chipping and Putting Greens, one of them with practice Bunker. Additional services: Golf Shop, Snack bar, Bar Buggy service, club rental, Buggies and Trolleys (manual and electric).

The resort also features a Horse Riding Centre Pura Vida (specialized in Dressage and special therapies), a submarine (Submarine Safaries), which operates from the San Miguel Marina.



GOLF DEL SUR

Built on a zone declared an area of National Tourist Interest, Golf del Sur is one of the major golf complexes on the island.

The geography of the terrain has a significant influence on the characteristics of each round.

The broad, rolling fairways are dotted with countless natural obstacles.

The presence of several lakes contrasts with the spectacular bunkers of volcanic sand that protect the greens.

The presence of the sea and the impressive gorges that mould the course give golfers the chance to enjoy each visit to the limit.

There is a Golf School, Driving Range, Chipping and Putting Green. The Buggies are fitted with GPS.

The facilities you will find at Golf del Sur are on a par with the very best golfing complexes of Europe.

The traditional style Club House has an Events Lounge with seating for 250 people, an area for Golfers to relax and a daily Terrace and Cafeteria service.

Golf del Sur is one of the golf courses in Spain that is certified by TUV to ISO 14001 AND BIOSPHERE GOLF STANDARDS.

Tenerife Golf Trophy

Tenerife Golf Fields Association brings a golf tournament circuit to develop in the province of Tenerife Sta.Cruz dedicated to European amateur golfers with or without Spanish Federation License.
