Playa del Carmen activities included :

- Seven swimming pools, including one adults-only pool, two Sandos Select Club pool areas, and a separate pool area for children.

- Two tennis courts (unlimited day and night use within schedule of operation on a first-come, first-served basis). Includes equipment (balls and rackets). Proper attire and court shoes required.

 -Water sports, including windsurfing, sailing and kayaking (may be canceled depending on ocean conditions; lessons not included), snorkeling gear and in-pool scuba diving lessons.

- Full spa facility with sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and fitness center with exercise equipment.

- Adults-only pool and tanning areas.

- Disco (23:00-02:00).

- Games, including billiards, ping pong, backgammon, chess, dominoes and cards.

- Daily activities program with aerobics classes, calisthenics, beach activities, pool games, water aerobics, water polo, beach volleyball, water volleyball, and bicycle tours during the day (for adults only).

- Kids' Club: Open from 10:00 to 22:00 for children; Baby Club for ages 2-3; Mini Club for ages 4 -7; Kids' Club for ages 8-12. Theatre, swimming pool, and supervised activity program including games and crafts.

- Teen Club: Open from 10:00 to 23:00 for teenagers, 13-17 years old. Games room (Avenue Bar).

- Nightly entertainment including cabaret shows, music performances and theme nights.
