The Mayan Riviera is a protected area which still contains numerous traces of the fascinating Mayan civilization.

Sandos Riviera  Select Club Adults Only is strategically located a short distance from the ecological water parks of Xcaret (with its underground river, Dolphinarium, botanical gardens and stables) and Xel-Ha, and the archaeological sites of Tulúm and Cobá.

Playacar is a private complex with an impressive infrastructure, including an 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Von Hagge.

Local climate:

-Semitropical.

-The average annual temperature is 26ºC / 79ºF, and can reach 35ºC / 95ºF in the summer.

-During the day it gets very hot, so we recommend brining lightweight clothing.

-When taking excursions in the jungle, trousers, long-sleeved shirts and mosquito repellent are recommended.

-At night, the temperature drops and can become chilly, so and we suggest bringing a lightweight sweater or jacket.
